Facts, copy and brand assets for writing about Backcandle. Everything below is read from the product as it is today.
Backcandle is a bar-by-bar trading simulator: traders replay real market history one bar at a time, with the future hidden, and every fill is journaled automatically.
Backcandle is a browser-based trading simulator for deliberate practice. Traders pick one of 32 instruments across crypto perpetuals, US stocks, metals and energy — 18.4M historical candles going back to 2019 — and replay it one bar at a time with the right side of the chart hidden. Orders fill against the real candles, perpetuals carry leverage, funding and liquidation, and every fill lands in an automatic journal with per-session analytics. Traders can set their own discipline rules, replay 30 historical market events, or let blind replay hide the symbol and the date until the session ends. There is a free plan; paid plans start at $14 for 30 days, with nothing renewing on its own.
Type: Bricolage Grotesque for headlines, Plus Jakarta Sans for text, DM Mono for figures; the logo is Bricolage Grotesque too, with "candle" on the mint highlight the headlines use. Write the name as Backcandle — one word, capital B. Use the light logo on light grounds and the dark one on dark; don't recolour or re-space either.
