Risk Disclosure.

Backcandle is a trading simulator. It does not involve real money. This disclosure explains what the platform is, what it is not, and what risks — simulated and real — you should understand before using it.

Effective 2026-01-01 Last updated 2026-04-21

01 Nature of the service

Backcandle is a trading simulator for educational and practice purposes only. All trades executed within the platform are simulated against historical OHLCV data. No real money is deposited, withdrawn, or transferred. No orders are routed to any exchange, brokerage, or live market.

Backcandle is not a regulated financial product, investment adviser, broker-dealer, or futures commission merchant. It does not provide investment advice, trading signals, or financial guidance of any kind.

02 Simulated performance disclaimer

Past simulated performance is not indicative of future live-market results. Simulated results have inherent limitations and do not reflect the impact of real-market liquidity, slippage, execution latency, brokerage fees, or the psychological differences between simulated and live trading.

  • Simulation assumes fills at or near the theoretical price — live markets may fill at worse prices
  • Simulated results assume unlimited liquidity at every price level — reality differs
  • Fees, commissions, and overnight financing costs are not modeled by default
  • Performance on a simulator does not predict performance in a funded account

03 Live trading risk warning

If you proceed to trade real futures contracts or cryptocurrency based on strategies developed using Backcandle, you should be aware that:

  • Futures and cryptocurrency trading is highly speculative and carries a substantial risk of loss
  • You can lose more than your initial deposit when trading leveraged instruments
  • Past performance of any trading strategy — live or simulated — does not guarantee future results
  • You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose entirely
  • Seek advice from a licensed financial adviser before trading with real money

04 Data accuracy

Historical candle data is sourced from exchange public feeds and third-party vendors. Backcandle makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Gaps, adjustments, and errors in the underlying data may affect simulation results.

05 No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Backcandle and its operators accept no liability for any losses or damages — direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise — arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to decisions made in live markets based on experience or performance within the simulator.
